MicroBlitz
MicroBlitz was a project that allowed me to explore the design principles behind short-form gameplay experiences and mobile game development. Inspired by the WarioWare series, I created a collection of fast-paced microgames wrapped within a colourful disco-themed presentation and adapted for mobile devices.
During this project, I aimed to understand how developers can create engaging experiences within extremely short gameplay windows whilst maintaining variety and player interest. In addition to developing the individual microgames, I explored user interface design, mobile optimisation, and the challenges of adapting arcade-style gameplay to touch-screen controls. Through this process, I developed a greater appreciation for accessibility, usability, and the importance of clear player feedback in game design.
This is the project that I presented at GradEx 2026.
