Dissertation
The Final Year Project was one of the most important and yet fun modules on my course. Under the assistance of a supervisor to assure an apt choice and scope, I was granted the ability to choose what I wanted to research during the module.
I chose something that mixed some of my key interests together - Player Psychology and Permadeath Mechanics. During the course of this module, I not only wanted to create a fun game that tests the variables of what I was researching, but I also wanted to develop a deeper understanding of Player Motivation and how game developers can improve it in order to create a set of intrinsic game features.
